An embroidered patch featuring a rendition of a fictitious Maui Fire Department. A dark humor joke done in very, very bad taste. I will not apologize. The patch is funny, even though the tragedy obviously isn't. If you cannot separate humor from humanitarian ideals, then that is a personal problem for you to overcome. My heart and soul goes out to the natives and locals who lost their properties and livelihoods, especially while corporate and upper class properties went by unscathed. If there is a god, then he is not a just one.
No, a space laser didn't start the god damn fire. But maybe, just maybe, the disaster of climate change is real and these things are simply going to get worse and worse if we don't do something. The cultivation of nonnative plants, the lack of indigenous oversight when it comes to caring for the environment, rising temperatures, and increases in population/construction density are going to lead to more and more problems. Is it possible that some developers seized the opportunity during the wildfires to get rid of homes and locales that were in the way of their future prospects? Absolutely, as companies and rich individuals have done things like that for as long as there has private property.
Regardless, it is absolutely criminal that there isn't a robust safety net for American citizens when disaster strikes. You're left to rely on charity and your own bootstrap-pulling capability. Meanwhile, billions of dollars in weapons go overseas to facilitate imperialism and expansionism, and our overlords get to relax on their yachts or in their penthouses. Oh, their Hawaii home burned down? That's fine for them- it will be rebuilt by the time they need it for vacation again. They'll just go to the Bahamas this winter instead.
Don't be mad at me for making a dark humor piece of clothing. If it is not for you, it is not for you. Direct your anger towards the property developers, the oil companies, the lobbyists, the bought and paid for politicians, and the system itself. If I was a million-dollar company, I would absolutely be using my excess labor value to help all of those people. But they shouldn't need my help. The system, society, the economy- whatever you want to call it- should have a network in place to care for people who experience these things. Why the hell aren't we taking care of our people?
Spice up your outfit by adding an eye-catching embroidered patch to your ensemble! Our stylish, durable, and heat-resistant patches are perfect for airsofters, mil-sim enthusiasts, paintballers, security, and police who are trying to add a bit of flare or humor to their kits, or are looking for a unique way to express their individualism on the field.
