An embroidered patch featuring the three white stripes often associated with the brand Adidas. The track suits and sneakers were pretty prolific in the 1990s Balkan region, as well as with Eastern European immigrants coming to the West. I am unsure if movies made it worse, or if the stereotype emerged and then that influenced movies. Either way, I'm calling them Slavic Stripes because Adidas is a name brand. Gotta fool the censors somehow.
